Are you an experienced Systems Accounts with previous experience working with both Sage X3 and collaboratively with IT functions and external technology vendors?
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the main purpose of the role is to define, implement and maintain technology enhancements which support improvements in operational efficiency, data quality, financial integrity and internal controls within the Global Finance function.
Responsibilities will include:
* System Administration and maintenance of Sage X3, including role profiles, user access, workflows, and module configuration.
* Lead upgrades, patches, and system enhancements in collaboration with IT and Sage X3 partners.
* Identify opportunities to automate and streamline finance processes using Sage X3 functionality and other technology solutions.
* Support month-end and year-end close processes through system configuration and reporting tools.
* Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards using Sage X3 reporting tools (e.g., SEI).
* Develop, implement and maintain Finance Master Data Management concept.
* Triage Finance IT support tickets, and troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution in collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
* Research market innovation in technology-enabled Finance process improvement, working in collaboration with Leadership team to create business cases for investments.

In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:
* Previous experience of working as a Systems Accountant
* Experience working with Sage X3 in a finance or systems role
* Qualified accountant or equivalent is desirable
* Experience in ERP implementation or upgrade projects

This is a part time, 32 hours per week role, working Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30, days to be discussed at interview stage and is being offered as hybrid working with 60% of the working week being spent at our Cambridge office in Sawston (CB22 3EG).
