We are looking for a General Office Assistant to join our team in Exeter. This is a fully office based role.
The Role:
* As a General Office Assistant (Apprenticeship), you will:
* Open and distribute post each morning, and collect, sort, and frank post each afternoon
* Ensure deadlines are met for special delivery mail and organise couriers
* Deliver packages locally by hand when necessary
* Undertake large volume scanning, photocopying, and printing requests
* Manage stationery orders and assist with file archiving and retrieval
* Provide backup for the Reception team and replenish catering stocks in staff kitchens
* Perform other administrative duties as required
The Candidate:
* For the General Office Assistant (Apprenticeship) role, you should have:
* Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines
* Good communication skills, both oral and written
* A strong team player mentality with the ability to use initiative
* A positive, proactive attitude with flexibility and commitment
* Ability to work autonomously and with minimum supervision
* Drive, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
* Office experience and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel are desirable
