Do you have a strong background in ensuring the safety of buildings and their occupants? Our client, a leading organisation in Greater Manchester is currently seeking an Interim Fire Safety Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact and contribute to the safety and well-being of all individuals within their premises. Key Responsibilities: · Implement and maintain fire safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. · Conduct regular risk assessments, identifying any areas of concern and developing strategies to mitigate potential hazards. · Provide expert advice and guidance on fire safety matters to all staff and stakeholders. · Collaborate with relevant departments and external agencies to coordinate fire drills and emergency evacuation plans. · Conduct thorough investigations of any fire-related incidents and recommend measures for improvement. · Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in fire safety legislation, technologies, and practises, and ensure their effective implementation. Required Skills and Qualifications: · Proven experience in a similar role, with a thorough understanding of fire safety regulations and best practises. · Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Building Safety Act 2022 · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff at all levels. · Demonstrated ability to develop and implement fire safety strategies, policies, and procedures. · Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within strict deadlines. · Experience conducting fire risk assessments and knowledge of risk assessment methodologies. · Relevant qualifications in fire safety or risk management would be highly advantageous.
