Lead Electrical Technician Support 37 hours per week, based in Preston £37,924.44 per annum (£19.66ph) plus ability to earn more via call out and standby What will you be doing in this role? Youll be a part of our Asset Management team, a range of skilled trades people who carry out planned and responsive maintenance in both tenanted and empty properties. We have around 7000 properties across Preston, Fylde and South Ribble so you wont have to travel far. Youll have a CGA van to travel to and from work and to your jobs. The Lead Electrical Technician is a senior electrician assisting the Electrical Supervisor and Electrician Technical (Qualified Supervisor) to ensure the technical quality and compliance of electrical work across CGA properties. You will carry out hands-on electrical work, including fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs, while maintaining excellent safety, quality and customer service standards. The main things: Youll have an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation including AM2 or equivalent like a C&G 236 Part 1&2 and BS7671 18 th Edition wiring regulations. Youll have an inspection & Testing qualification (CG2391 or equivalent). Youll have the current edition of the Wiring Regulations qualification. Youll have experience in a range of repairs, maintenance and programmed works with an excellent understanding of health and safety. Youll have great communication skills combined with a flexible can do attitude. Youll have a full driving licence for manual vehicles as you will be driving one of our CGA vans. It would be nice if you also had: A current NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS) accreditation is desirable, however where this is not held the successful candidate will be required to achieve QS status within 6 months of starting the new role so you can provide technical cover for the Lead Electrical QS when required.
