Atlas Repairs Ltd is a leading nationwide provider of tail-lift servicing, repairs and LOLER inspections. With a fleet of mobile engineers and a reputation for quality, reliability, and fast response times, we are now seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our team.
The Role
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our engineering team and ensuring outstanding service delivery to our customers across the region. You will act as the key link between customers, engineers, and the operations office.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and support a team of mobile service engineers
* Oversee daily job allocation, scheduling, and engineer productivity
* Ensure all work meets company standards and complies with LOLER and H&S regulations
* Act as main point of contact for key customers
* Monitor job status, service quality, and response times
* Support training, mentoring, and performance management of engineers
* Work closely with Head Office to improve processes and service delivery
About You
* Proven experience in a service management or workshop management role (HGV / tail-lift / commercial vehicles preferred fork lift mechanical handling )
* Strong leadership and people-management skills
* Technical knowledge of hydraulic / mechanical / electrical systems an advantage
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly
* IT literate with good organisational skills
