Location: Reading (hybrid working) Duration: 5 month initial contract Rate: £87.15ph UMB (Inside IR35) Role details: Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence & Security sector, is looking for a dedicated Product Delivery Manager to join their team in Reading. This role is offered on a contract basis, with an initial duration of five months, and hybrid working options available. Key Responsibilities: Own the delivery and continuous improvement of process frameworks and integration models. Translate business and engineering needs into clear process roadmaps and delivery plans. Ensure integration solutions are delivered within scope, time, and quality targets. Define and design integration models ensuring interoperability and data standards. Establish governance structures and enable data continuity across tools and environments. Coordinate delivery across internal teams and suppliers, ensuring clear ownership of deliverables. Drive resolution of integration issues and continuous improvement of workflows. Support relationship management with key technology vendors. Job Requirements: Experience in product, process, ITIL, and digital engineering. Strong grasp of architectural principles and operating models for process and integration. Knowledge of integration patterns for ALM/PLM and adjacent systems. Understanding of certification and assurance frameworks in safety-critical environments. Strong communication and negotiation skills to manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders. Ability to establish process metrics, compliance dashboards, and continuous improvement loops. Experience in managing budget and delivering IT products and services within budget constraints. Project or Programme Management certification (e.g., APM, Prince2) or demonstrable experience managing multi-stakeholder delivery environments. Qualifications: Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. Service Management certification (e.g., ITIL) or equivalent experience operating enterprise processes and services. Proven experience in Defence programmes, with practical understanding of certification frameworks (e.g., DO-178C). Security clearance or eligibility for clearance in the defence sector is mandatory.
