We are excited to offer an opportunity within our Network Department for a Network Flushing Operative. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively flushing the distribution network, identifying maintenance needs, and ensuring activities align with PW’s operating procedures. You will also ensure compliance with all company and regulatory standards.
With a positive, proactive attitude, you will manage queries confidently and calmly. You’ll enjoy working outdoors in a supportive team environment, tackling new challenges daily. Your work will be vital in providing essential services to our customers. You will collaborate with other departments and external partners to resolve network and customer issues. What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities
* Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
* Conduct network operations thoughtfully, with careful planning and consideration.
* Complete operations in accordance with PW policies, procedures, and RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements).
* Perform field activities with effective communication, ensuring accurate information processing and reporting.
* Follow department-specific risk assessments and COSHH standards.
* Assist in timely, proactive, and reactive communication with customers and internal teams.
* Handle face-to-face customer interactions professionally, maintaining high service standards.
* Participate in out-of-hours work as needed, starting operations when network conditions are suitable.
