Little Steps Private Day Nursery comprises of a well-established Good Ofsted rating nursery in Birmingham. We are also currently opening another nursery in Northfield Birmingham. We offer consistently exceptional Childcare and Early Education for children aged between 6 weeks to 5 years, and are seeking an enthusiastic, self- motivated and passionate individual to join our successful team.
We are looking for a full‑time, term‑time only, Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Little Steps Nursery. A level 3 qualification or above is essential for this position.
Requirements of Qualified Early Years Practitioner
* To have a least 1 year s childcare experience is preferable
* Minimum of NVQ level 3 in Early Years or childcare/Education
* Good Knowledge of child development
* Fun and creative character
* Inspirational
* Approachable
* Caring
* Good teamwork with practitioners and to work in partnership with our parents
Responsibilities of Qualified Early Years Practitioner
* Key practitioner responsible for a small key group of children
* Work with a wider team of practitioners to effectively follow daily routines
* Provide the children with a safe, secure and home from home environment
* Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team
* Support children to grow and learn
* To follow all policies and procedures including a commitment to safeguarding and child protection
