Nursery Assistant – Ellesmere Port
Excell Supply are currently recruiting for caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to work in early years settings across the Ellesmere Port area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young children during their early development.
About the role:
As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. You will support daily routines, encourage learning through play, and help children develop socially and emotionally.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting children with play-based learning activities
* Assisting with daily routines, including meals and personal care
* Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
* Working alongside nursery staff to create a safe environment
* Observing and reporting on children’s progress

* Previous experience working with young children (nursery or childcare setting desirable)
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for early years development
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 in Childcare) are desirable but not essential
