Hometown America has a unique opportunity available for a Maintenance Supervisor at Village of Cool Branch located in Seaford, DE.
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will:
1. Lead a team to ensure day-to-day maintenance of all community buildings, pools, and spas, and the timely performance of ongoing projects.
2. Perform a variety of routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance tasks for community common buildings, areas, and leased homes.
3. Communicate daily with the property manager and collaborate as a team player to achieve customer expectations and ensure ongoing operations.
To be successful in this role, Hometown America looks for the following attributes and/or transferable experience and skills, which can be acquired in different industries or contexts:
1. Previous experience managing and leading a team.
2. Experience and general knowledge of landscaping, electrical, carpentry, and hand tools.
3. Experience in plumbing and utilities.
4. Certified Pool Operator certification is preferred.
5. Ability to work in various seasonal temperatures, as the role requires outdoor work.
6. Take initiative and have the flexibility to work independently as well as in a team, seeing assignments and projects through to completion.
7. Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays or outside normal business hours for emergency situations.
8. Our hiring process includes criminal background and driving record checks.
9. A current, valid driver's license from the state where the community is located is required before driving a company-owned vehicle or a personal vehicle on company business.
