Our valued public sector client requires the services of a Senior Tester (10+ years) to perform manual and automated testing, convert manual tests to Selenium-based automation, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines while working closely with development teams. The resource will validate functional and non-functional requirements, develop and execute test scenarios, and contribute to automation-first testing practices integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Must Haves:
1. Experience with Selenium/WebDriver and test automation
2. Experience converting manual test scripts into automated tests
3. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
4. Experience with manual testing of functional and non-functional requirements
5. Experience testing .NET / .NET Core applications
6. Reliability security clearance
7. Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer science, information technology, or engineering

Responsibilities:
13. Manual testing of features and solutions to validate functional and non-functional requirements;
14. Develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on approved requirements and designs;
15. Establish and maintain software testing procedures with an automation-first approach;
16. Convert manual test scripts into automated tests using Selenium/WebDriver and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines for gated and scheduled runs;
17. Plan and coordinate testing activities, including walkthroughs and readiness reviews;
18. Manage and monitor test plans, execution progress, and defect lifecycle;
19. Establish and maintain source and object code libraries across multi-platform environments;
20. Validate functional compliance, performance SLAs, and accessibility standards;
21. Execute system, integration, regression, performance, and accessibility testing;
22. Conduct performance testing including load, stress, and scalability testing;
23. Document execution results, defects, metrics, and recommendations;
24. Stabilize flaky tests, remove obsolete tests, and ensure new features are covered;
25. Provide status reporting and stakeholder communication including test readiness, quality risks, and release sign-off recommendations;
26. Work closely with developers, actively question requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement;
27. Participate in training to maintain knowledge of testing tools, trends, and best practices;
28. Contribute to process analysis and testing process improvements.
