Support Worker
Location: East of County Durham (primarily Seaham, Horden, Peterlee), across the whole county
Type: Permanent, Part Time (18.75 hpw), Thursday and Friday 9am - 5pm, other hours flexible
Salary: £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum) plus benefits including Health Cash Plan

Typical day as our Support Worker
* Assist customers with daily living tasks to promote independence and support their support plans.
* Provide mental health support through group activities and 1:1 befriending, including community outings, arts and crafts, and themed events.
* Help with activities such as meal preparation, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancies, and moving to independent accommodation.
* Conduct risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and reviews.
* Build rapport through chats and catch-ups, with ample time to work collaboratively.
You bring
* Passion for supporting others and attention to detail.
* Experience caring for others, whether professionally or personally.
* Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure, and be resilient.
* A flexible, person-centered approach, listening to individual needs.
* A vehicle insured for business purposes (mileage paid).
