We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Wholesale Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fashion, understands current market trends, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage the customer critical path to ensure seamless progression of orders from placement through to on-time delivery.
* Liaise closely with the Sales team to meet tight deadlines and support business goals.
* Assist the Merchandiser and Account Manager with day-to-day departmental tasks and planning.
* Coordinate bulk fabric and garment submissions; follow up on approvals.
* Manage colour approvals, strike-offs, and lab dip statuses; obtain schedules from mills as required.
* Check and manage customer purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with customers and internal teams.
* Update the critical path with testing status, technical updates, and new order information.
* Ensure visual boards and updates are aligned with the critical path and communicate changes where necessary.
* Support continuous process improvements within the merchandising function.
Person Specification
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, with strong experience in managing critical paths.
* Previous experience working with a fast fashion supplier is highly desirable.
* Commercially aware with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Strong organisational and coordination skills.
* Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with merchandising systems is a plus.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and able to use initiative.
