About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Insolvency Administrator looking to step up to management level or a professional Manager with specialist knowledge of the Insolvency Act 1986, to join our very niche and dynamic small team in Birmingham.
You will provide expert guidance on the legal, regulatory, and commercial implications of phoenix companies and other insolvency litigation matters, acting for Creditors. Working closely with licensed insolvency practitioners, directors, and legal advisors, you will ensure that we remain fully compliant while navigating complex legal paradigms and commercial considerations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, with a focus on post-liquidation matters and phoenix arrangements.
Conduct commercial-risk assessments and asset evaluations. Litigation strategies, portfolio management and creative new opportunities.
Liaise with external solicitors and Counsel, manage in-house legal functions, insurers and creditors, and the Courts to resolve complex litigious issues.
Oversee and mentor junior legal staff in handling technical and legal aspects of cases. Assist in the firm’s recovery strategies.
Stay abreast of changes in insolvency legislation and case law, particularly relating to director conduct.
About You
CPI or JIEB qualified, or equivalent experience in insolvency practice.
At least 5 years’ experience in corporate insolvency.
Strong working knowledge of the Insolvency Act 1986 and related case law.
Excellent analytical, communication, and client relationship skills.
Target-driven.
Confident in liaising with legal teams, directors and creditors.
Professional, ethical, and commercially astute approach to complex insolvency matters.
