HGV Class 1 Driver – Permanent Role Nottingham (NG6) £35,500 per annum (48-hour week) We are currently recruiting for a permanent HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver based in the NG6 area of Nottingham. The Role: As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled collections and deliveries of materials, ensuring a professional and secure service to customers at all times. Duties will include: Carrying out collections and deliveries in line with daily schedules Providing a professional, customer-focused service on-site Completing vehicle checks and maintenance logs Following job instructions, including weighing or recording materials where required Ensuring all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately Making sure the vehicle is clean, secure, and well maintained Operating equipment where required (full training provided) Adhering to all DVLA, VOSA and health & safety regulations Supporting with manual handling and lifting as part of the role The role involves a mix of driving, site work, and customer interaction, so drivers must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
