Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated youth worker / Sports Coach to join our community Cic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and youth work or looking to work in that field, with the ability to inspire and motivate people of all ages. This role involves developing training programmes, leading practice sessions, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Duties
* Design and implement effective training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
* Conduct practice sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
* Organise and participate in competitions, ensuring that all logistical arrangements are in place.
* Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes personal growth and teamwork among participants.
* Maintain open communication with parents, and other stakeholders regarding training schedules, progress, and any concerns.
Requirements
* (desirable) experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential.
* Strong knowledge of the sport(s) being coached, including rules, techniques, and strategies.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with athletes of various ages.
* A passion for sports and community a healthy lifestyle among participants.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by training schedules.
