Job overview

An opportunity has become available to join Epsom and St. Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust as a static Band 6 Occupational Therapist within the Acute Therapies team. This role will primarily work within the medical specialty based at St.Helier Hospital, which cover a diverse range of clinical areas, including respiratory, cardiac, general medicine, and haematology.

Occupational Therapy plays a vital role in the acute care setting, ensuring that patients experience a seamless and positive journey during their inpatient stay and beyond. Our Occupational Therapists collaborate closely with physiotherapy colleagues, the wider multidisciplinary team, and community partners.

We are seeking a motivated and committed individual to join this static position at St.Helier Hospital, with the opportunity to develop expertise in a specialist area and to support the Band 7 in team development activities. This role is suitable for an experienced Band 6 therapist or a Band 5 therapist aspiring to progress professionally through a developmental opportunity. The Trust places a strong emphasis on staff support and professional development, fostering continuous learning and growth.

For further information or to discuss this opportunity informally, please do not hesitate to contact us.
