Support Worker – Darlington
Full and Part Time Considered
£13.54 per hour
Two gentlemen who Dimensions support at their home in Darlington would like a new Support Worker to join the team who enable them to live an independent life.
The gentlemen who are aged in their 60’s, and have learning disabilities, associated physical disabilities and epilepsy would like to meet full or part-time Support Workers who would like to get involved in the things they enjoy, including:
1. Going out for drives in their car
2. Visiting clubs and other places with live music
3. Eating out
4. Enjoying sensory activities at home
Both of these gentlemen use wheelchairs to mobilise but as you can see this does not stop them living an active lifestyle.
The role will be a mixture of 08.00-22.00 plus sleep in and 06.00-08.00 shifts as well as some 08.00-20.00 and 08.00-17.00 shifts.
Support Workers may also have to assist with finances, meal preparation and assist the gents with their personal care.
