Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for a Dispute Resolution and Litigation Solicitor for a company based in York, North Yorkshire. The company is within walking distance of York Train Station and on a public transport route.

About The Role
As a Senior Solicitor or Associate, youll manage a diverse and stimulating caseload, including:
* Property Disputes: Landlord and tenant issues, possession claims, rent arrears, lease breaches, dilapidations, contested lease renewals, easements, boundaries, and adverse possession.
* Commercial Litigation: Breach of contract, debt recovery, insolvency matters, and professional negligence claims.
* Corporate Disputes: Partnership and shareholder disagreements requiring strategic resolution.
Youll be responsible for drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements in line with Civil Procedure Rules, and representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court hearings. Youll also instruct Counsel and conduct legal research to ensure your advice is current, pragmatic, and commercially sound.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality legal advice that balances risk, commerciality, and client objectives.
* Lead client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
* Collaborate across departments to provide integrated legal solutions on multifaceted matters.
* Mentor junior solicitors and trainees, contributing to a culture of learning and excellence.
* Drive business development through networking, thought leadership, and market engagement.
* Ensure compliance with SRA standards, AML regulations, and internal policies.
What Youll Bring
* Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience.
* Proven track record in managing complex litigation and dispute resolution matters.
* Advanced drafting and negotiation skills, with a strategic mindset.
* Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and professional standards.
* Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
* Will consider a CILEX or SRA qualified individual but must be experienced.
* Leadership qualities with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to align legal advice with business goals.
