A little more about your role…
As a Senior Project Manager you will be taking the lead on delivering a variety of interesting highways and infrastructure sector projects for our client in Norfolk. You will be part of our highly collaborative Local Government team, based in Norwich, and delivering a range of significant projects within the County. Your role will include linking up with resources located in other WSP teams nationwide.

Your Team
All our Project Managers take on project responsibility from the outset invariably owning their own projects from conception to construction. Your role will be at the heart of our high performing team, using your skills and expertise to help us continue driving forward in terms of both technical quality and service efficiency. Your role will include:
* Own and lead the financial project management process, encouraging our teams to deliver the right solutions to the agreed programme and support those less experienced by reviewing their work and mentoring.
* Managing projects to ensure coordination of multi-disciplinary inputs.
* Prioritising client satisfaction through building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, whilst forming trusting relationships with colleagues to ensure effective co-ordination for mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Managing resources effectively (including remote resources) and efficiently to meet fluctuating workloads.
* Working with clients and design teams to deliver compliant designs on time and within budget and meeting H&S, CDM, QA and technical review requirements.
* Developing relationships with other WSP teams to utilise additional resources as required.
* Agreeing fees and managing the commercial position on projects.
* Coordinating between various project team members ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the agreed quality standard.
* Growing the Project Management team within Norfolk to accommodate other disciplines.
* Developing project management plans including project scope, baseline programme, fee estimate, roles and responsibilities, risk analysis, technical review requirements and managing progress meetings, producing weekly/monthly reports, taking minutes and preparing agendas.
* Producing project controls reports to meet client and business requirements.
* Carrying out change control including value engineering and value management.
* Developing, maintaining, and implementing stakeholder management plans.
* Ensuring invoicing and cash collection is undertaken in accordance with business process and procedures.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
* Experience of working within the services sector in either project management and/or business administration and financial planning.
* Experience in managing a range of project management activities, systems (including enterprise resource planning) and processes.
* Experience in managing project management teams with line management experience.
* A good understanding of commercial and financial project management.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organisational skills and excellent communication skills.
* Experience in project and resource management with good financial and commercial awareness.
* Knowledge of Construction Design Management 2015 and associated duties.
* Experience in project and resource management with good financial and commercial awareness.
* Knowledge of NEC 4 qualification desirable
