About the Role
We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Chorley to recruit a dedicated Key Stage 1 Class Teacher for a long-term role running until July 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys building strong foundations in early learning and wants stability within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons across KS1
* Plan, assess and adapt learning in line with the national curriculum
* Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom
* Track pupil progress and support individual learning needs
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and senior leaders
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or Early Years
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
