We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee food preparation, manage kitchen operations, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. The Chef will play a vital role within an inspiring kitchen team and contributing to the overall success of our hospitality establishment.
*Duties*
* Run a section within the kitchen ensuring high culinary standards
* Develop and innovate menus that reflect our brand
* Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff
* Manage food inventory, order supplies, and control waste to optimise kitchen operations.
* Oversee food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations at all times.
* Develop new recipes and menu items in collaboration with management.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Assist in coordinating service during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes to guests.
* Monitor food presentation standards to ensure consistency and visual appeal.
*Skills*
* Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting.
* Minimum Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene certification
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, motivation, and high performance among staff.
* Proficiency in food preparation techniques across various cuisines.
* Experience in hospitality environments with a focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
* Effective communication skills to collaborate with staff and management effectively.
