Senior/Principal Consultant
We are searching for an experienced Senior/Principal Consultant to join our team.
Our Consulting division unites multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to deliver client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our team, comprising over 1,700 professionals, contributes to nearly £200m in revenue and plays a vital role in the firm's growth.
The core of our consulting services includes six solutions: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. These solutions enable us to provide tailored support to help our clients achieve their strategic objectives and empower our team members to develop their careers.
Overall job purpose
Assist in managing the Technology Risk Assurance (TRA) client portfolio alongside Partners/Directors to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of assignments at clients’ sites, with a specialization in Cyber Security clients.
Responsibilities
1. Control and manage the delivery of TRA assignments, particularly for Cyber Security clients, ensuring completion within time and budget constraints, and providing solutions to issues as they arise in collaboration with the Director/Partner.
2. Lead TRA teams and individuals to ensure effective service delivery.
3. Manage an agreed client portfolio within the regional area.
4. Perform complex TRA assignments.
5. Represent the firm in TRA matters, including attending client meetings and audit committees.
6. Draft proposals or assist in preparing tenders and present them for business development purposes.
7. Build and maintain relationships with clients, identifying and acting upon potential additional work opportunities with existing or new clients.
Essential qualifications and experience
* Professionally qualified in CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent.
* Strong experience supporting Not for Profit and Financial Services clients with Cyber Security Internal Audits.
* Relevant experience in higher-level IT Audit.
* Experience auditing active directory and cloud security environments.
* Proven ability to manage teams and coach junior members.
* Proficient in IT tools including Excel, audit and accounts packages, Outlook.
* Excellent technical knowledge of internal audit processes and sector issues.
* Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology.
