Our client, a prominent player in the rail industry, is seeking a Contractors Engineer Manager (CEM) to work on a significant railway station redevelopment project in Birmingham. This long-term contract role involves leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering activities across the programme. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering leader with a robust background in rail infrastructure and a proven track record in delivering complex station or large-scale transport projects. This role is outside IR35. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary engineering authority for the contractor, ensuring all design and technical activities comply with project requirements, standards, and assurance processes. Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams, covering electrical, mechanical, civil, architectural, and systems engineering disciplines. Oversee the development, review, and approval of engineering designs, ensuring alignment with Network Rail standards and project specifications.
