Job Description
We are seeking an Asset Analyst (SFG20 / Uniclass) to play a critical role in ensuring building and maintenance data is accurate, complete, and fit for purpose. This role is focused on checking, organising, and improving asset and contract data so it meets technical standards, contractual deliverables, and client requirements. Reporting to the AV DV Senior Data Analysts within the AVDV Programme, the role supports the wider team by carrying out detailed technical reviews of asset and maintenance information. You will help ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data in line with programme objectives, enabling operational and technical teams to rely on robust, compliant information.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out asset verification to confirm assets physically exist, are correctly identified, and are in the correct locations.
* Review asset and survey data to ensure it is technically accurate and aligned with contract requirements.
* Validate asset data, including condition, location, maintenance requirements, and SFG20 / Uniclass coding.
* Ensure asset and maintenance data meets legal, safety, and engineering standards.
* Upload, export, and update asset and maintenance data within CAFM and related systems.
* Ensure assets are correctly linked to buildings, systems, job plans, and maintenance schedules.
* Apply strict version control to track changes and protect data integrity.
* Quality check reports and datasets before issue, working with surveyors, engineers, contractors, and managers to resolve data gaps or errors.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* Previous experience as an Asset Surveyor or in Asset Verification (essential).
* Strong knowledge of building maintenance standards, particularly SFG20.
* Sound understanding of Uniclass coding structures.
* Very strong Excel skills, including handling and validating large datasets.
* Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on data quality.
* Confidence working with technical and operational stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
