Role: Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: Northampton
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a full-time Secondary Behaviour Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive team in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with additional behavioural needs in both classroom and social settings. The school is conveniently located with easy access to public transport and on-site parking for staff.
Pay: Approximately £100 per day, depending on experience.
Job Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting children and young people with behavioural needs is beneficial but not essential.
* Strong relationship-building skills and excellent interpersonal abilities are essential.
* A solid understanding of behaviour management strategies and the ability to work well within a team environment are important.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting students displaying challenging behaviours with patience and empathy.
* Assisting in the implementation of behaviour management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Delivering individual behaviour plans and helping students with their emotional and social development.
