Job Description
* Ensuring all purchase invoices are correctly coded and authorised
* Daily posting of purchase invoices
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Preparing payment runs and maintaining supplier accounts
* Handling purchase ledger queries in a timely and professional manner
* Assisting with month-end and year-end closing of the ledgers
* Supporting the wider Accounting & Finance team as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
* A solid understanding of accounting principles
* Experience in purchase ledger or similar role
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
