Temporary MIG / TIG Welder – Automotive Industry
The Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced MIG / TIG Welder for one of our well-established clients within the automotive trimming and fabrication sector.
Pay £15.00phr - £20.00phr
8:00am – 4:00pm
On-site role
Key Responsibilities:
1. MIG and TIG welding on automotive components and custom fabrications
2. Producing high-quality welds to meet industry and safety standards
3. Working from measurements and basic drawings
4. Assisting with preparation, grinding, and finishing where required
Requirements:
5. Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
6. Minimum 2 years’ experience (5–10 years preferred)
7. Previous experience within an automotive or trimming environment is advantageous
8. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
9. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Induction & Testing:
10. On-site induction required
11. Welding test to be completed on site prior to placement
