Responsibilities:
* Responding to new referrals from the public and professionals
* Carrying out assessments to identify support needs or safeguarding concernsSignposting families to the right services or progressing cases as appropriate
* Managing a diverse and sometimes complex caseload
* Preparing high-quality reports and court statements
* Working closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver the best outcomes
To be considered for the role:
* Registered Social Worker with Social Work England (SWE)
* A recognised qualification in Social Work (e.g., BA, BSc, or equivalent)
* Ideally, prior experience in a Children's Duty and Assessment Team
* Strong assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
