Are you an experienced Production Planner who has mentored a team within a manufacturing environment? Do you have a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and planning processes? We are working with a leading manufacturer who are looking for a Head of Production Planning on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for leading the planning team to ensure that manufacturing schedules meet customer demands while maintaining efficient stock levels.

Job Description
* Review MRP outputs to prioritise daily production schedules
* Identify material shortages and initiate corrective actions
* Lead of a team of production planners
* Analyse part demand, usage trends and forecasts
* Maintain and improve planning data including BOM’s, routings and work instructions

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
* Proven experience in production planning, including MRP and inventory control
* Experience managing a team
* Background working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
