We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Female Support Workers (Drivers Essential) to join a dedicated care team supporting a vibrant young woman with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy in St. Austell.
About the Client:
Our client is a full-time wheelchair user who requires hoisting for all transfers and support with all aspects of her daily care needs. She lives independently in a two-bedroom annexe at her parents’ home.
She is a very happy, smiley lady with a wonderful personality. She loves musicespecially boybands like Boyzoneand enjoys attending concerts whenever possible. She has a busy and active weekly routine, regularly attending art and music clubs as well as hydrotherapy sessions. She thrives on social interaction and enjoys getting out and about.
About the Role:
* Double-handed support during the day you will always work alongside another team member on day shifts
* Sleep night shifts are lone working
* Providing full personal care and daily living support
* Supporting with social activities and community access
* Driving the client to appointments and activities (full UK driving licence required)
Shifts Available:
* 15-hour day shift (starting at 8:00am)
* 9-hour sleep night shift
* Opportunity to combine day and sleep night to complete a 24-hour shift
* Part-time and full-time hours available
