About the Role
As a Bridging Finance Packager, you will work directly with brokers who need expert support placing non‑standard or complex bridging cases. Your job is to package the case, structure the deal, resolve issues, and position the application for fast approval with the right lender.
You will act as the technical specialist in bridging finance criteria, lender requirements and deal viability. This role suits an experienced Bridging Finance Broker, Underwriter or someone who has deep knowledge of structuring bridging transactions.
Key Responsibilities
* Structure bridging finance cases, ensuring all deals are viable, fully packaged and ready for lender review.
* Work directly with brokers, offering expert advice, problem‑solving and deal restructuring.
* Identify suitable lenders, products and structures based on client circumstances, security type and exit strategy.
* Manage the packaging process from enquiry through to submission, liaising with lenders, valuers and solicitors.
* Analyse risk, LTV, pricing, security, adverse credit and legal considerations to ensure the deal fits criteria.
* Provide clear communication and guidance to brokers to maximise submission quality and approval speed.
* Maintain strong relationships with lenders and internal teams to support seamless case progression.
* Stay up to date with market trends, lender updates and bridging finance best practices.
Skills & Experience Required
* Must be able to structure bridging finance deals confidently and independently.
* Experience as a Bridging Finance Broker, Packager, Underwriter, or Specialist Lending Case Manager.
* Strong knowledge of lender criteria across bridging, refurbishment, commercial and mixed‑use property finance.
* Relationship‑driven, solutions‑focused and able to work in a fast‑paced specialist lending environment.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex requirements for brokers.
