Site Engineer
Location: Near Banbury (Chipping Warden)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + car allowance/car and accommodation if staying away
A fantastic long-term opportunity has opened for a Site Engineer to join a prominent civil engineering consultancy on a major infrastructure project near Banbury, working on the prestigious HS2 scheme. This high-profile development includes extensive earthworks, tunnelling, roadworks, viaducts, and bridge construction and is set to continue well beyond 2029.

The Role:
As a Site Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the installation work at the Chipping Warden site. The role is hands-on and involves a wide range of surveying, monitoring and setting out duties across the project area.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting out and surveying a variety of monitoring points across the site
Performing digital precise levelling (training provided if required)
Carrying out topographical surveys and control installations as needed
Collaborating with site teams to ensure accurate execution of works
Requirements:
Valid CSCS card
Experience as a Setting Out or Site Engineer
Minimum 2 years working on heavy civils projects in the UK
Competent in using a range of modern surveying instruments
A proactive, adaptable approach and willingness to learn new techniques
Package:
Competitive salary (£45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience)
