Who are we?
Art Fund is the UK's national fundraising charity for art. We give grants to help museums, galleries, historic houses, and public arts organizations acquire objects, share them with the public, and support research and training for museum professionals. We are supported by our growing membership of 135,000 through the National Art Pass, as well as the generosity of individuals, trusts, and foundations.
The role
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to deliver first-class marketing strategies that enhance satisfaction, increase revenue, and foster lasting engagement with Art Fund's membership (The National Art Pass). This is an exciting opportunity to join the membership team at one of the UK's leading arts organizations and contribute to our mission of sharing great art and culture. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, experienced in customer retention, coordinating multi-channel loyalty programs, and building customer journeys via email marketing tools. You will craft engaging copy that guides members through our charitable offerings, inspiring connection, trust, and action.
As a key member of the National Art Pass marketing team, your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing marketing strategies across online and offline channels to maximize retention of the National Art Pass.
2. Supporting activities that promote Art Fund’s charitable message, increase membership loyalty, and generate income through regular giving and fundraising.
3. Managing marketing automation for membership journeys, from onboarding to renewals, lapsed, and win-back programs.
4. Creating assets and experiences that add value to our diverse membership, including engaging communications about museum events across the UK.
5. Coordinating membership emails and digital services, defining customer journeys, writing copy, planning email content, and reporting results.
6. Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to create marketing assets reflecting Art Fund’s brand identity.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer retention, loyalty management, and CRM, using data and insights to drive strategies and working closely with stakeholders to enhance the membership experience.
