Are you a passionate and enthusiastic German Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire students in a dynamic secondary school? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated German Teacher to join a supportive school community in Nottingham NG7, starting immediately.
As a German Teacher, you will play a key role in encouraging students to develop language skills, cultural understanding, and a love of modern foreign languages. This role is suitable for experienced teachers, ECTs, or overseas-qualified candidates with strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured German lessons across Key Stages.
* Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
* Prepare and assess assignments, providing high-quality feedback.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental activities.
* Support pupils in building confidence and enthusiasm for learning a new language.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and positive learning environments.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in German and modern foreign languages.
* Experience teaching German within a UK or similar curriculum.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* A passion for language learning and cultural education.
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
