Job Title: Senior Care Assistant at HC One

Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, helping to deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Tasks may include showing residents how to use walking frames, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, always with kindness. You will also assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing social and recreational activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records.
Ideal candidates will have completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care and be willing to work towards Level 3 or equivalent. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. The essential qualities include positive energy, good record-keeping, effective time management, and genuine kindness and consideration in communication.
