Job Title: PA / Project Support Officer

Salary: Up to £150 per day dependent on experience

We're looking for a proactive, organised, and experienced PA / Project Support Officer to provide professional and reliable support to two Heads of Function within the HPC Technical Directorate - specifically the Head of Commercial Management and the Head of Plant Engineering.
This role is central to ensuring the efficient running of senior leadership diaries, meetings, and project coordination. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and pride yourself on top-notch organisation and discretion, we want to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
* Delivering high-quality PA support to senior leadership and their wider teams
* Managing complex diaries and inboxes, including scheduling and rescheduling
* Preparing meeting packs, coordinating room bookings, and organising UK and European travel and accommodation
* Planning and coordinating off-site team events and away days
* Formatting and checking documents, presentations, and reports for submission
* Taking minutes, tracking actions, and managing open points from meetings
* Collaborating with other PAs and stakeholders across the organisation
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in a PA or senior administrative role
* Excellent organisational, secretarial, and communication skills
* Confidence in managing multiple tasks independently and prioritising effectively
* A proactive, flexible, and solutions-focused mindset
* High attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
* Strong IT skills, including Outlook and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ability to work well with different working styles and within cross-functional teams
Desirable:
* Experience in project support within a technical or engineering environment
* Familiarity with internal travel and event planning systems
