Job Title: Multi Site Technician
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 42.5 Hours Per Week
Salary: £41,506.36 Total Salary (Inclusive of Standby Payment), Overtime, Travel Time, 33 Days Holiday, Private Pension & Benefits - Including Private Health Care, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts
This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a number of site locations within a specified region.
To carry out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs to a range of electrical, mechanical and building assets in ASDA stores in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the specified Company Health and Safety procedures.
* Bakery and catering equipment, mechanical and electrical systems and assets, lighting systems, building fabric, water services and other static and portable electrical equipment.
* General maintenance and first look is required for all HVAC/Fire and Security and electrical and general issues.
Key Responsibilities
* To complete all necessary PPMs and ensure all PPM remedial tasks are accurately logged and actioned, ensuring legal compliance.
* To supervise the Maintenance Assistant (MA), provide regular coaching and support them to perform their role in line with company processes.
* To prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and contract SLA’s.
Qualities / Experience
* C&G 2382 (18th edition)
* Level 3 core Electrical qualification, examples of which are: C&G2330, C&G 2365 (with relevant experience), C&G2365.
Desirable but not essential
* Familiarity with completion of electrical certification
* City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection
* Time served in electrical discipline or have relevant industry experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate
* Ability to maintain/repair a range of electrical and mechanical equipment, e.g. fans, pumps and compressors, to recognised standards.
* General plumbing and building experience.
* Ability to work at heights.
* Current driving licence.
