Governors play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of the school, supporting the leadership team, and ensuring accountability-all with the aim of delivering the very best outcomes for every student. Volunteering as a trustee is both a privilege and a responsibility, and it's also a hugely rewarding experience. You will be part of a committed team that works together to support and challenge the school to be the best it can be.

Time Commitment
Typically four full board meetings per year, plus six committee meetings, with occasional school visits during school hours.
Alcester Grammar School is seeking to strengthen our board with an individual who has experience in secondary education. Previous governance experience is helpful but not essential, we will support you every step of the way with training and mentorship, and you will be joining a warm and welcoming team.
* Secondary education experience (teaching, leadership, or related fields)
