About the Role
As a Specialist Notetaker, you will attend lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions to produce clear, accurate, and well-structured notes. Your notes will serve as an essential learning aid, ensuring the student has equal access to course content and discussions.
Timetable
Support is required for the following sessions:
* Monday: 9:00 - 17:00
* Tuesday: 9:00 - 13:00
* Thursday: 9:00 - 17:00
* Friday: 9:00 - 17:00
Responsibilities
* Produce accurate, concise, and accessible notes for all scheduled classes (typed or handwritten as required).
* Review and edit notes post-session to ensure clarity and completeness.
* Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries at all times.
* Prioritise the student's needs and work in line with University and Randstad procedures.
* Communicate promptly with Randstad regarding any student or scheduling concerns.
Requirements
* Excellent typing skills with strong spelling and grammar.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
* Comfortable working in fast-paced academic environments.
* Organised, discreet, and professional in all communications.
* Must have access to a personal laptop for note-taking and email delivery.
