Job title: FM Contract Manager Job Description: This role is primarily based at Gloucester Police HQ with the opportunity to work from home 1 day per week. The challenge you’ll be taking on You’ll step into a live, operational PFI/FM contract with established teams, multiple stakeholders, and high expectations around compliance, performance and value. Your focus will be to: Take ownership of day‑to‑day contract delivery and performance Lead and develop on‑site FM teams, setting clear direction and standards Act as the key interface between client, partners and internal teams Balance service delivery with commercial and financial accountability Identify risk early, resolve issues pragmatically, and drive continuous improvement This is a role for someone who’s comfortable being visible, accountable and decisive. What success looks like In your first 12 months, you’ll have: Built strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders Stabilised and strengthened operational delivery Embedded clear governance, compliance and reporting rhythms Created a positive, high‑performing team culture Improved consistency, confidence and control across the contract What we’re really looking for Rather than ticking every box, we’re keen to speak to people who can demonstrate: Experience managing PFI or complex FM contracts in live environments Strong working knowledge of compliance, governance and contractual obligations The ability to lead people through clarity, not micromanagement Commercial awareness – you understand how decisions land financially A calm, solutions‑focused approach when things don’t go to plan If you’ve been operating as a senior FM Manager, Deputy Contract Manager or similar and are ready to take full ownership, we’d love to hear from you.
