UK-wide Sales Manager
Astute's Power Team is partnering with a growing power solutions provider with a commitment to autonomy and commercial expansion to recruit a UK-wide Sales Manager. The results‑driven role offers a basic salary of £50,000–£70,000 (depending on experience) and performance‑related bonuses. It is a hybrid working arrangement and may include a company vehicle or car allowance.
Responsibilities
* Develop new business opportunities within the generator rental/hire market and maximise utilisation of a fleet of 70–80 generators.
* Manage and grow relationships with existing customers and key accounts across the UK.
* Promote temporary power solutions, including generator hire, fuel tanks, load banks, and associated equipment.
* Identify opportunities across multiple sectors, such as construction, industrial, utilities, events, infrastructure, and emergency backup power.
* Maintain regular customer visits and site meetings across your region.
* Work closely with internal operations and engineering teams to ensure smooth delivery of rental projects.
* Provide market feedback and competitor insight to the management team to support commercial growth targets.
Qualifications
* Proven sales experience within the generator rental/hire, temporary power, or power rental industry.
* Strong understanding of generator rental customers, sales cycles, and hire operations.
* An existing network of industry contacts with a proven ability to generate new business opportunities.
* Experience selling relevant equipment such as temporary power solutions, generators, load banks, fuel tanks or associated rental equipment.
* A full UK driving licence (essential for site and customer visits).

* Results‑oriented, thriving in a flexible and autonomous environment rather than a micromanaged one.
* A natural relationship builder, comfortable engaging with both new and existing customers during site visits and meetings.
Salary & Benefits
* Basic salary: £50,000–£70,000 (depending on experience).

* Working arrangement: Hybrid (approximately one day per week in the office, the remaining time spent visiting customers/sites and working remotely).
