This role requires a finance professional with a strong academic background demonstrating technical accounting knowledge, analytical prowess, and problem-solving skills. Reporting directly to the Finance Principal, the individual will be ultimately responsible for the accounting operations of the business.
Duties include:
Producing timely and reliable monthly management information reports for the Finance Principal and the board of management, investigating variances against budgets and providing analysis of differences.
Preparing annual budgets, half-year, and quarterly forecasts with commentary on risks/opportunities.
Ensuring all financial targets are met.
Supporting the Finance Principal and collaborating with multiple Principals and teams across the firm to deliver solutions.
Assisting the Finance Principal in developing, documenting, and maintaining all necessary systems, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the firm.
Fulfilling all necessary actions to ensure the firm meets its financial and legal obligations.
Managing two direct reports.
Ideal candidates will possess:
ACA/ACCA qualification with experience, preferably gained in a professional practice.
Proficiency in interpreting, analysing, and presenting data in an accurate and commercial manner.
Ability to multitask, think strategically, and communicate effectively.
Strong technical abilities.
Significant managerial experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise across multiple disciplines internally and externally.
Confidence in driving change and leading from the front.
Experience with expense management software.
The package includes:
Annual Christmas Bonus equivalent to 1 week’s salary.
