Job Description
We are working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced MET Technician for their well-established, independent bodyshop located in Henley-on-Thames. This MET Technician role presents a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable team that values professional development and offers a supportive environment.
Benefits:
* Competitive basic salary of up to £50,000
* Predominantly Monday to Friday work, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with an early finish at 3:30 pm on Fridays
* No weekend working required
* Full mechanical and bodywork duties
* Support for further qualifications, including ATA, if desired

Duties:
* Perform comprehensive mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated vehicles
* Conduct dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work efficiently
* Re-assemble vehicles with new parts, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
* Conduct inspections and testing to confirm vehicle condition
* Identify faults or issues requiring attention or safety consideration
* Conduct road tests on vehicles in a safe and legal manner, ensuring roadworthiness
* Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and communicate effectively with team members
Candidate Specification:
* Proven experience as a MET Technician within an automotive environment
* Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively
* Knowledge of dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic procedures
* Possession of full qualifications relevant to MET work
* ATA qualification is advantageous but not essential
* Ability to work well within a team and follow safety procedures
