As a Category Managerbased in our Warwick office, you’ll be responsible for:
Driving the strategy on a range of products, responsible for all category supplier terms negotiations and managing your own categories.
Identify products that may form part of multiple customer strategies and ensure that an appropriate plan is in place to maximise inventory and stock performance; the range change process; provisions and the clearance of end-of-life stock
Analysing data to understand trends and identify opportunities, awareness and analysis of main competitors and market landscape.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, having a strategic and proactive approach to managing the supply base, whilst understanding the customers' needs.
This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday-Friday 40 hours a week, with hybrid working (flex to work remotely up to 2 days a week.)
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
Category Management experience
Ability to learn the technical product knowledge - Refrigeration spares.
Able to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders at a range of different levels.
Experience of developing, planning and executing a Category strategy, ranges and negotiating supplier terms.
Analytical skills to interpret complex information about market changes and competitor activity.
