Overview
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our rotation across the Cornish Health Community. We are looking for a team member who can provide decisive and effective Occupational Therapy input.
This is an entry-level post working the equivalent of 37.5 hours per week. This post holder will join the Occupational Therapy Band 5 rotation scheme. This is a scheme, which spans across different health settings and different areas of practice.
Within this rotation you will develop specialist skills in the following areas: Physical medicine, learning disabilities and adult mental health, under the guidance of the senior staff. Work base will change with site changes. To provide a high standard Occupational Therapy service to patients within each area. To provide assessment, treatment, and goal setting of patients within each area. Some patients may have complex and/or chronic presentations. To determine clinical diagnosis and Occupational Therapy treatment indicated. To maintain records as an autonomous practitioner. This is an entry-level post. This post is part of the Occupational Therapy Band 5 rotation scheme. This is an entry-level rotation scheme, which involves working across the health community’s sites, in a range of ward settings and out-patient departments and in the patient’s own home.

Flexible 7 day working and commitment to the weekend rota.

Responsibilities
* Provide a high standard Occupational Therapy service to patients within each rotation area.
