Overview
Design professional focused on delivering consistent, effortless digital experiences. The role emphasizes creative and analytical thinking, strong visual interaction design, and excellent communication to champion UX thinking with product owners and developers. You will lead UX projects with a collaborative problem-solving approach and a strong understanding of Design Thinking, Accessibility, and Design Systems to communicate their importance to stakeholders and gain buy-in.
Responsibilities
* Delivers impactful solutions that solve customer problems and move business metrics
* Ensure the UX process is followed, and decisions are made based on research and data
* Able to measure success of design work
* Support the delivery of product roadmaps, working with the Product Owners and Dev teams
* Ensure a smooth handover to development and ensure what is developed matches the design
* Share best practice and new innovations that you come across in the wider industry
* Contribute to growing a customer-centric culture by helping the business understand what UX/UI is and how we add value
* Contribute to the design system by creating and documenting components to be used throughout the digital experience
* Demonstrate ability to design consistent, effortless digital experiences with a strong eye for visual interaction design and effective communication to stakeholders
* Have a strong understanding of Design Thinking, Accessibility and Design Systems and why they’re important to communicate to stakeholders and get buy-in
* Be highly proficient in using Figma and have experience contributing to design systems
* Identify and compare the best processes to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes
* Champion the customer’s voice and support/challenge teams to ensure design decisions are backed by data and insights
* Facilitate workshops and collaborate with a range of stakeholders to solve problems
* Have experience of agile working
* Work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
* Absorb large amounts of conflicting information and translate it into simple designs
* Participate in user research and testing activities and draw insights to make informed, user-centred design decisions
* Work closely with stakeholders to ensure what is designed is commercially viable and technically feasible
