The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a team of committed professionals. This role involves supervising classes during the short:term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task and focused on their learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering pre:prepared work, managing classroom behaviour, and providing a positive and productive learning environment.

Requirements:
* Experience of working with young people in an educational or similar setting.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness for one)
* A genuine passion for education and working with young people.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervising whole classes during the short:term absence of teachers.
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Ensuring students are on task and completing the work set by the absent teacher.
* Responding to student questions and providing support as needed.
* Liaising with senior leaders and other staff members as appropriate.
* Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
* Following the schools health and safety procedures.
* Reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff member.
* Collecting completed work at the end of the lesson.
