Entry Level Applications Engineer – Turning Specialist
Location: Worcester (with regular UK travel)
Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 (DOE) + Door to Door Pay, OTE of c. £50k

The Role
You’ll receive full training to transition into an applications role, using your hands-on experience to support customers and colleagues. Expect plenty of variety — from running live cutting trials and demonstrations, to delivering training, technical advice, and process optimisation on some of the most advanced turning machines in the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
Use your CNC knowledge to provide technical support to customers and internal teams
Plan and deliver cutting trials, demonstrations, and presentations
Deliver customer training sessions and support UK/overseas exhibitions
Showcase control systems and CAM software
Respond to technical queries and provide on-site support
Work closely with sales engineers to ensure smooth handovers
Keep up to date with new machining methods, tooling, and measurement technology
What We’re Looking For
Essential
Strong background in CNC turning or mill-turn programming and setting
Experience in a busy subcontract machining environment
Confident communicator with good problem-solving skills
Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
Desirable
HNC/HND in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

£36,000 – £42,000 basic (depending on experience)
