Litigation Paralegal
A commercial law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its established disputes support team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. This opportunity will suit a candidate with strong debt recovery experience who is looking to further develop their career within a busy and collaborative legal environment.
The role will involve supporting solicitors on a varied contentious caseload, with a particular focus on debt recovery and litigation matters, alongside broader dispute resolution and legal support work.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting solicitors with debt recovery and litigation matters
* Assisting with court documentation and procedural requirements
* Managing case progression, deadlines and internal workflows
* Liaising directly with clients, debtors and third parties
* Handling correspondence and supporting negotiation processes
* Assisting with investigations, tracing and reporting work
* Supporting wider contentious and commercial legal matters where required
About You
* Previous debt recovery paralegal experience is essential
* Experience handling litigation matters and working to court deadlines
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage a busy and varied workload
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident liaising with clients and third parties directly
* Proactive, professional and team-oriented approach
* Comfortable using legal systems and case management tools
